No. All required third-party engineering and specialist consultants will be contracted and paid directly by the Client. Our firm assumes no liability for the structural adequacy or technical accuracy of engineering designs. Coordination with other professionals and sub-consultants is included.

Services are strictly limited to Part 9 Small Buildings under the Ontario Building Code (maximum 600m² in building area and up to 3 storeys, plus basement). Any designs exceeding this scope will require the retention of a licensed Architect or Professional Engineer.

For Specific Components (Common): If a standard project requires non-prescriptive elements, such as massive open-concept spans, specialized foundations, or engineered truss systems, we will coordinate directly with a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) who will design and legally stamp those specific structural components. For the Entire Structure: If an entire proposed project completely exceeds Part 9 boundaries (such as a building area larger than 600 m² or a structure exceeding 3 storeys), a licensed Architect or Professional Engineer is required to act as the primary professional on record.
